This week I'm serving up a delicious (and healthy!) green juice that you can have two ways-- drink it one way one day, then switch it up for the next!
Go Green Smoothie
1/2 bag of Kale, no stems/ribs (I get bags of pre-chopped kale from Trader Joe's)
1/2 bag Spinach
2 kiwis, peeled
4 Apples (I used Fuji, but you can use Gala or Green as well)
1 Lemon, peeled if juicing
Put all fruits and veggies through juicer as per your juicer's instructions. Makes approx. 4 servings.
- 1 cup+ of green juice from above
- 1 Banana (the more ripe the better!)
- ~1 cup Ice
- 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
- Squirt of honey
Combine juice and ingredients in blender; blend until smooth. For added smoothie-ness, add 2-3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt.
