Happy day before Thanksgiving, everyone! Today I'm sharing a few Thanksgiving favorites, although my favorite thing about the holiday is gathering with friends and family, sharing a large, yummy meal and giving thanks for what I have.
I'm not so much a fan of turkey but my plate gets filled to the brim with sides. Mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberries... all the good stuff, but most especially the sweet potato casserole. I use a recipe similar to this one
and it's always a hit!
Another must for Thanksgiving is a delicious drink (:cough: booze :cough:) to sip on while visiting with the family. This Cider Rum Punch
sounds like it would do the job just right.
Lighting a pumpkin spice scented candle always puts me in a festive, cozy fall mood. If there's no pumpkin pie baking in the oven then the candle is a must... and how cute is this Pommes Frites Soy Candle
in a mason jar?
Wishing everyone a happy, and full-filling, Thanksgiving!
PS- I recently started a Facebook page for my blog and would be greatly appreciative if you could head on over to give me a 'LIKE.' Leave a comment below and I would be happy to return the favor!
