Good HUES-Day: Getting in Shape On a Budget + Linkup

Forever21 Activewear Style

Growing up I was never into sports or pretty much anything athletic. Once I hit middle school, PE was pretty much torture. I absolutely hated running, participating in sports, pretty much anything active-related. In high school though I opted to take aerobics and actually enjoyed it. I found that it helped with toning and was a good cardio exercise... and the best part? No running!

Now I take a weekly pilates class and often will hit a yoga class where I can. Staying in shape and getting some form of exercise in is important, especially since I'm not naturally an active person. I am naturally a budget-conscientious person and I just can't see spending hundreds on workout clothes and luckily I don't have to-- Forever 21 now carries a variety of activewear, most items under $20!

I love the variety of stylish and comfortable options Forever 21 carries. The fabrics allows me to move freely and the mesh panels allow my skin to breathe. Plus they have some great colors and styles to choose from-- is it bad that cute workout clothes actually make me want to workout?

Random fact- these are my first Nike shoes... ever! I had the same pair of tennis shoes for about 10 years and finally had to upgrade. I'm so glad I did, this pair is so comfy- I even wear them to run errands in.

  2. Great workout gear from F21! Sometimes those actually are better than the expensive stores like Lululemon!

  5. We've certainly come a long way from tracksuit pants :) many of these pieces could be worn outside the gym/off the track without in the least bit appearing out of place xo

  7. I love F21 as well as Old Navy and Macy's for my workout gear. I don't really see the point breaking the bank for Lululemon that you're just going to get sweaty
