It's My Birthday!

Banana Republic Red Tie Neck Dress

It's my birthday! I can't really believe that I'm 32 today... ahh, did I just admit that?!? This month also marks A Good Hue's fourth blogiversary so there's lots of celebrations going on over here.

Apologies to all my readers for being MIA for the past week. I was on vacation in Napa for a very long weekend (more on that later) and between getting caught up at work, getting the pets back into their routines, and cleaning up the house (who ever thought 1 cat could make such a mess while we were gone??), I just haven't been able to get myself back on track just yet. Soon, soon I promise! I decided to take my birthday week off and will be back next with an all new outfit post (here's a sneak peek), beauty posts and maybe even a super yummy margarita recipe just in time for Cinco de Mayo festivities.

Thanks to all for your continued support and the birthday love, I truly appreciate it!

Blushing Blooms Outfit + LINKUP

Photos by: miysl photography

Growing up if you had asked me what my favorite bird was, I would probably have said the swallow. They have an unmistakable shape and are so acrobatic yet graceful when in flight. Each spring after having migrated to Argentina for the winter, they return to Mission San Juan Capistrano here in Southern California. Yes, some 6,000 miles away! Funny enough, I found out that they are now nesting in and making Chino Hills their home, which is where these photos in this post were taken. Once after touring the mission, my grandparents bought me a tiny glass sparrow that I kept on my dresser for years afterwards, in fact, I'm pretty sure I have it in a box somewhere. It's a special reminder that life is full of journeys but there's still no place like home.

How-To: At-Home Mani

How-To: At Home Manicure with Lauren B. Beauty

I remember that once in my early teens I was getting a manicure at a salon and had thought to myself, "I can do this". From then on I started giving myself at-home manis and pedis... and anyone else who would let me. I even had one of those cool foot spas that bubbled and had a massager on the bottom... fancy, huh?

While I will still occasionally get my nails done in a salon (usually if I want gels), more often I still give myself manis. Here's how to get the perfect, salon quality manicure at home:

Step 1: Soak nails & hands
You can make a basic nail soak of water and baking soda or mix up a more elaborate DIY nail soak. I tried a soak with coconut oil, jojoba oil, honey and lavender oil and it left my skin feeling super soft and moisturized.

Step 2: Exfoliate
Remove dead skin with the Lauren B. Beauty Polishing Hand Scrub. This luxurious feeling hand scrub gently exfoliates removing dry skin and includes Vitamin E, aloe, and sunflower seed oil to help soften skin, cuticles and reveal more healthier looking hands.

Step 3: Moisturize
Apply the Lauren B. Beauty Nourishing Hand Creme to soften and hydrate hands. This hand lotion is weightless and has a thin formula but packs some major moisturization. When first applied, I thought it might be too greasy but it absorbed quickly and left hands feeling soft, hydrated with a soft floral scent. I made sure to really massage the lotion into my cuticles to help soften them. Skyy Hadley, the owner of As U Wish Nail Salon, is a firm believer in tending to your cuticles for strong and healthy nails. She points out that having dry, scraggly cuticles is not a good look and may even make you want to pick at them, which can lead to a bacterial infection... yuck! She also recommends to keep the nail beds and areas around nails moisturized, which will help the nail polish stay in place longer.

Step 4: Shape Nails
Push back softened cuticles using  and orange stick and then file nails. I like using block files that also include a buffer and shiner to add a healthy shine to nails.

Step 5: Apply Serum
Brush on the Lauren B. Beauty Nail Growth Serum and let sink in for a few minutes. I have been applying this a couple times a week for the past few weeks and find that my nails feel stronger. The serum contains a blend of antioxidants, amino acids Vitamins E and C, and biotin to help strengthen and grow nails and is great for those with fragile nails that break easily.

Step 6: Paint Nails
For nail color that lasts, start by applying a base coat. Let dry, then apply two coats of your favorite polish. Seal with a top coat and let dry completely.

Spring Floral Easter Dress

H&M Floral Dress | LC Lauren Conrad Runway Collection Heels (similar) | Felt Fedora Hat | Stella & Dot Necklace

Can I just say that I am thrilled tomorrow is Friday? This week has felt long. Work has been crazy busy, which is good because I like keeping busy, but it's that week of the month and I just feel fatigued and sluggish. I have lists and so many things to get done but I just cannot get on it this week. Do you ever have days like that?

I am looking forward to a nice, Easter weekend but I have a few things I need to do, especially since next week we'll be heading to Napa! I'm excited to take a few days off, sip some good wines and just relax. I've barely even had time to go shopping lately, although last time I did I came across this pretty floral dress. Doesn't it just scream 'spring is here!' to you? Continue reading to see more of this springy floral outfit>>

Make Believe In Yourself: Spellbound Glow Rainbow Highlighter

I walked into Forever 21 last week and no joke, it looked like a unicorn threw up it's lunch all over the place. It was bright colors, rainbows and holographic pieces everywhere. This holographic unicorn craze has even made it's way over to the beauty section and honestly? I'm not hating it.

It's no secret I love a good highlighter and there has been some beautiful ones released recently (hello, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Prismatic Amethyst!) in shades you wouldn't normally see a highlighter in such as various tones of purples and blues. I'm loving how these iridescent beauties have made their way into other aspects of the beauty aisle- lips, eyes, even skin with the Farsali Unicorn Essence.

Above are some of my picks that I am dying to try-- most especially the Milk Makeup Holographic Stick, Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in Halo and the Bite Beauty Opal Creme Lipstick. Truth be told, I'll gladly add all these to my makeup bag.

What do you think of the holographic craze? Would you rock holographic makeup?

Classic Prep & Denim Outfit + LINKUP

Outfit: Denim jacket with mid-rise black jeans and loafers

The beginning of spring always seems to be one of the busiest seasons. Maybe it's because the weather is warming up and I'm able to (and want to) do more. Or, maybe it's because of Daylight Savings and the longer daytime hours. April is especially going to be a busy month-- it's my birthday month (woohoo!) and we have a trip planned to Napa at the end of the month, I can't wait!

This week I'm sharing an everyday, classic preppy look. Has anyone else been addicted to loafers lately? They're super cute and I love the lighter shade selections for spring! Keep reading to see more of this outfit, plus join this week's Good HUES-Day linkup>>

Makeup Monday: March Beauty Favorites

March Beauty Favorites

I had the most uneventful weekend and honestly, I had no problem with that. I ran a few errands (super fun stuff like buying a new toothbrush and doing the weekly grocery shopping), relaxed, took the dog for a walk and a whole lot of nothing. Good stuff, right? I did make some chicken enchiladas with a from-scratch enchilada sauce (recipe here) that was super yummy. At the beginning of each month I'm always surprised at a couple things. First, how it's already April (my birthday month!) and second, how I still have so many beauty products to share, which is either a really cool thing or it could be indicative that I have a problem... nah, no makeup addiction here. Here's the beauty products that I was loving in March:

How pretty is the Pixi Beauty x ItsJudyTime It'sEyeTimeEye Shadow Palette? This palette of 12 eye shades contains shadows that are silky smooth and blend nicely. I love mixing up the colors and trying new combos-- so many pretty looks to create from soft, champagne eyes to a smoldering smokey look. Plus, this palette is under $25--- insane!

While I don't think it will take the place of my HG Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, I found myself reaching for the Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara all month long... and still am. While I don't get the mega volume like my HG, I do get amazing lash definition. The formula is fantastic- not heavy and doesn't clump- and the wand pulls the mascara through lashes perfectly for volume and definition. Definitely a winner!

Eye shadow primers can make such a difference in the wear of your eyeshadows. Lately I've been using Physicians Formula #InstaReady Eye Primer Duo-- yes, you read that right, "duo" as in you get two in one. One of the primers is a typical matte primer- perfect for everyday looks, especially when wearing matte or satin shadows and is especially great for those with oily lids. The other duo is this gorgeous champagne shimmery pink shade designed to be worn with shimmery shadows. I've been wearing this shimmery primer on it's own-- it's the perfect go-to for those on-the-go type of days when you don't have time to create a full eye look. So pretty!

I've actually been using these Luxie Beauty Makeup Brushes on the daily for almost a year now and realized I haven't featured them! They are synthetic brushes, meaning they're cruelty-free and vegan. I've been using both eye and face brushes and find that the quality is fantastic, especially for the price.  The bristles are soft, easy to clean, and how cute are the pink handles and rose gold detail??

Speaking of rose gold, I have been loving the Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in Crown of My Canopy, which is a gorgeous coppery rose gold shade. This highlighter applies super smooth and the payoff is WHOA- an intensely perfect glow. While I typically reach for lighter highlight shades, this one looks absolutely stunning on. Best part? It's only $5!

What beauty products have you been loving lately?

Brand Collaborations Pt. 2: Pitching Brands

How to Pitch Brands Successfully

In Part 1 of my Brand Collaborations series, How to Not Get Brands to Work With You, I outlined some of my biggest pet peeves as someone who works in influencer outreach and collaborations. This week, I wanted to share my top tips on writing successful pitches to brands you would like to partner with. Here are my top 5:

1. Tailor Your Pitch: I can 100% tell when a pitch comes through that has most likely been copy-pasted dozens of times. It's incredibly general and does not mention anything about the brand. I'm more likely to want to collaborate with someone who shares why the brand would be a good fit for their blog, if they have used the brand before (extra points!) or any personal anecdotes about the brand or products.

If you're able to personalize the pitch, please do so. If we met at a conference or event, mention that! I'm more likely to be favorable to pitches from bloggers I have already met or have a connection to.

2. Be Specific:  In your pitch, be sure to include details about what you want from the collaboration, what you're offering and be upfront about your sponsorship fees. I love getting pitches that outline exactly what the influencer wants to do, how they'll be using the products and positioning the brand. However, some won't mention any sort of fee in their initial email which leaves me going 'Great! Is there a fee or do they just want product... or??' Don't leave me guessing.

3. Keep It Professional: Treat the email pitch as you would any piece of professional correspondence- polite, friendly and grammatically correct. I'm not sure which is worse, a pitch that comes off as condescending and demanding or one that includes grammatical errors or lacks basic sentence structures.

Also, please feel free to follow up-- sometimes I get wrapped up in other projects or meetings and unfortunately forget about your email. Or, maybe I'm just waiting on the go-ahead. Follow ups help get you back on my mind. Just please don't incessantly follow up or send the same email over and over.

4. Include a Media Kit: Your media kit doesn't have to be anything fancy or even an attachment. You can just include a few lines in your pitch about monthly page views, unique visits and a couple links to similar content that you feel would align with the brand you are pitching to. I have seen shops and even other bloggers selling media kit templates and they honestly aren't worth the spend or taking the time to constantly update it. I suggest that you include your stats and links at the end of your pitch, or link to a media kit page on your blog.

5. Add Your Links: Always, always, ALWAYS include links or hyperlinks to your blog/channel and social media profiles in your pitch. One of my biggest pet peeves and a huge turn off is not including links that click directly to your profiles and blog (unless we have an established relationship and I know you).  I mentioned this in Part 1, but it's so important to me that I just have to mention it again. Please do not make me hunt for your social stats or worse, try to bait me into replying to you in order to get your information. No joke, I received a pitch this past week in which the sender talked up their social following and then wrote that if I were interested they would then send me their link. Dah-lete!

Spring Beauty Trend: Mauve

Mauvelous Makeup: Mauve Beauty Picks

I'm calling it now, I think mauve is going to be one of spring's hottest beauty trends. In fact, I think it's already on the cusp of having it's moment. Mauve is a pretty pale dusty purple-pink shade that can run more lilac to a dusty nude. It's one of those shades that looks flattering on pretty much every skin tone.  From shadows to blush to lips, mauve is topping my makeup must list. Click below to shop some of my top picks

Makeup Monday: Revive Dull, Tired Skin

Tips to Revive Dull, Tired Skin

Anyone else feel like their skin needs some extra help? Winter weather can be brutal on skin, especially if you have drier skin like me,  or if you live in an area with dry weather (me again!) and can really use some TLC to get skin looking bright and radiant again. Today I'm sharing a few of my tips, along with the best products, to revive dull, tired looking skin and how you can incorporate these into your skin care and makeup routine>>

In my experience, dry skin always looks more dull. Be sure to hydrate skin with moisturizer or facial oil day and night to reap the moisturizing benefits. I apply a lightweight daytime oil then apply my moisturizer, Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer on top. At night, after washing my face I will apply either an argan oil or a nighttime oil, such as the Perfectly Posh Call It a Night Nighttime Facial Oil.

Using a toner, such as the Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic, after cleansing the face helps to brighten skin. This one cleans out pores and removes any dirt and impurities. This particular toner includes a mix of glycolic acid ginseng and aloe vera that work together to brighten skin and is one I highly recommend.

Apply concealer not only cover but to brighten the under eye area. Try It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination Concealer for full-coverage to cover up any under eye circles. Or, sheer it out for all-over coverage for a radiant complexion.

To give skin a sun-kissed boost, apply a gradual tanner such as Vita Liberata Self Tanning Anti Age Serum, which not only gradually tans the face but conditions and provides anti-aging benefits as well. Since this is a serum, you can add it to your moisturizer or apply it on its own and use it as a primer before applying makeup.

A little cheek color can also help wake-up tired and dull skin. I recommend applying a cream blush on the  apples of cheeks for a "just pinched" natural look. Try Stila Convertible Color for a sheer tint... you can also apply to lips for a pop of color as well.

To give skin a pretty glow, add a light touch of highlighter to the tops of cheekbones. I love using the Colourpop Highlighters (favorites include Lunch Money and Flexitarian), which have a super-soft, almost cream like texture, and apply using a brush for a sheer, barely there glow.

When skin isn't at it's best, you can wear a bold lip color to draw attention from your skin to your lips instead. A bright red will add instant radiance to dull looking skin. My pick? Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick (pictured above in Gazpacho).

How do you keep skin looking radiant during winter months?

10 Ways to Refresh for Spring + GIVEAWAY

Spring Break Giveaway

The weather is getting warmer, the days are getting longer and the air is getting fresher meaning that spring (and spring break!) is just around the corner. Freakin' finally! I don't know about you but this girl is looking forward to pulling out her sandals, cute dresses and getting in the sunshine. To celebrate, I'm sharing 10 ways that you can refresh for spring PLUS giving you the chance to win a care package to get spring-ready.

1. Get a pedicure: My toes are so NOT sandal-ready so a pedicure is very much needed. Splurge a little and go for the relaxing spa pedi- you're worth it!

2. Have a ‘me’ day: Relax, read, sleep in, take a long, luxurious bath-- however it is you get some R&R and take some time for yourself, just do it. Looking for more ideas to pamper yourself? Check out this post!
3. Drink up: I'm talking water, silly! I used to be horrible at drinking water, so much so that I actually fainted from dehydration once... whoops! Now I make sure to drink water daily and honestly, I feel so much better, healthier and my skin looks fab.If you haven't been getting your water fix, get on it!
4. Goal check-in: Circle back to those New Year’s resolutions and goals. Have you made any progress? If not, reevaluate to see if these goals are realistic for you or update them if need be. Only you can be accountable for you.
5. Ditch the heavy makeup:  Skip the heavy foundation and switch to a BB or CC cream (especially with SPF). Your makeup will look more natural and fresh.

6. Go for the pink: On the subject of makeup, switch up your lipstick shades. Put away the deep shades and opt for something lighter... and pinker! My picks for spring are dusty rose shades, peachy corals, and a fun bright pink.
7. Get back to the gym: I'll admit, I haven't been to pilates in months. It's so hard for me to go when it's chilly out. This spring I fully intend on getting back to class. If what you were doing before just doesn't interest you any longer, try something new such as yoga, pilates or even spin.
8. Wardrobe Refresh: Hang up that bulky coat for a cute bomber jacket. I am totally loving the jackets with pretty floral prints such as this one or this one

9. Plan a trip: Whether you're off for spring break or just taking a long weekend, get out of the house and head somewhere fun for a few days. Bonus points if it's a tropical locale.
10. Treat yourself: You've been working hard for months, it's time to give back to yourself. It's okay to eat that extra cupcake, or take yourself out to a movie and dinner. Or, you can start by entering this giveaway:
To get you all in the spring spirit I’ve teamed up with some awesome bloggers to do a little “self care / spring break recovery” care package (or you can choose the cash!).

Perfectly Posh Look Natural Review + GIVEAWAY

Perfectly Posh Look Natural Collection

Natural-based beauty has been growing in popularity over the last few years and many, myself included, have become more concerned over what we're putting on our skin. While I love to try different beauty products, I shy away from trying too many skin care products not only because my skin is somewhat sensitive but sometimes I just don't know what kind of crazy ingredients and chemicals are in the products. Today I wanted to share the Look Natural skin care collection  from Perfectly Posh, which is vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, dye-free and uses natural fragrances and essential oils, and has me hooked. I am so impressed with this line and super excited to share it with you. Here's a peek at my natural-based pampering routine using the Perfectly Posh Look Natural collection plus a special giveaway for you!

After trying the BFF: Best Face Forever Exfoliating Face Wash for the first time, I was obsessed. The face wash features natural microbeads that gently exfoliate, while a blend of grapefruit and peppermint essential oils freshens, cleans and gives me a little wakeup perk in the morning. The peppermint oil is super helpful with my allergies, especially in the morning when I am the most congested, and helps me to breath easier.

While I have a daytime moisturizer that I prefer, I do like to apply the Night & Day You Are the One Facial Moisturizer in the evening after washing my face. This moisturizer includes aloe, natural olive oil and vitamin E to help nourish and moisturize skin. It also has lavender oil, giving it a soft, relaxing scent-- perfect for unwinding before bed.

When I'm not using the moisturizer, or if I need some extra hydration, I will apply the Call It a Night Nighttime Facial Oil, a mix of natural safflower seed oil, jojoba oil, evening primrose oil, rosemary essential oil, lavender essential oil and green tea extract. While this oil is heavier than a daytime oil, it is not greasy, absorbs well and is a perfect gentle overnight skin treatment.  Plus it has a soft, relaxing scent and pairs well with the Night & Day Moisturizer.

In the mornings after washing my face, I like to immediately apply the Dawn on Me Daytime Facial Oil before applying my daytime moisturizer. This lightweight oil includes a mix of
sunflower seed, grape seed, jojoba, argan, lime and rosemary oils which work together to provide hydration, soothe, brighten, and protect skin from free radicals. Now that's multi-tasking!

When I really feel like pampering myself, or if my skin needs some extra help (let's face it, it happens!), I like to apply the Envy This Face Mask, which is an anti-aging focused, vegan clay mask that includes neem flower to help clean and soothe dryness, and green tea to boost collagen production and calm irritation. The mask also contains caffeine to help tighten the skin and it really dos so. Some masks can irritate my skin but I find that after using the mask, my skin feels tight and smooth with no irritation. This has become one of my go-to masks from Posh!

You can order any or all of these Look Natural products online from Perfectly Posh (psst, when you buy 5 products, your 6th is free!) . I am also hosting a Facebook party on Thurs. March 9th- stop by to learn more about Perfectly Posh products and why I've been seriously obsessed with this brand. Plus, all event RSVPs are entered to win a PP set. Here's the details:

Want to win a pampering set including a Big Fat Yummy Hand Creme, Chunk Bath Bar and Caffeinated Lip Balm from Perfectly Posh? Simply enter using the Rafflecopter form below. Open to US residents, 18+ only. Ends 3/10 11:59pm PST. Good luck!

February Beauty Favorites

February Beauty Favorites

You guys, it's March... when did that happen?? I always get thrown off in February, I mean, would it really be so weird if they threw in a couple of days to even everything out?  I'd be cool with it. I realized that I missed last month's beauty faves so I wanted to make sure I shared mine from February. These are the items that I've tried this past month and find myself using more often. Here's what's been on my love list lately:

Perfectly Posh Complexion Perfection Exfoliating Face Wash:I had tried a sample of this face wash back in August and was super bummed when I went to order it and it was no longer available. Heartbreak! Luckily, Perfectly Posh brought it back (and revamped the packaging) and I've been using it pretty religiously for the last month. This cleanser features gentle exfoliating walnut shells (no lie!), peppermint oil (so good for my allergies!) and aloe, which helps to soothe skin. My skin has been on the drier side and this doesn't dry it out at all- love it!

PS- I am a Perfectly Posh rep so if you want a sample, let me know!

Physicians Formula #InstaReady Full Coverage Concealer: Okay, I just have to say that this concealer is the ish. It's full coverage and it covers really well, but it's not thick and cakey. I find that it's really similar to the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer but not as thick (and a much lower price!). It's actually a very lightweight formula and a little bit can go a long way, but that coverage, man, it's good! This also has SPF to help protect and it comes with a cute mini blender sponge, two thumbs up for sure!

Molly Cosmetics Silisponge: You may recall these as the new beauty tools that people were going nuts for around December. They're makeup blenders made of silicone, kind of reminiscent to bra inserts, and seem sort of weird to apply makeup with. I don't think they'll replace my Beauty Blender and I don't particularly like using it with concealer, but the silisponge works pretty darn well to blend in foundation. I like that the foundation doesn't get absorbed into in so I'm not wasting anything and they are so easy to clean. It's one of those you have to try it to experience it kind of things-- you may love it or you may hate it. I recommend purchasing from another brand that has these, mine took two whole months to get delivered.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Matte Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in (Earth)quake: I've never been much of a brown eyeliner wearer... until now. When I first received this eyeliner from Influenster I was kind of bummed because it was a dark brown (along with a light brown liner as well) and not black, which I normally wear. I  got over that fast though because this deep chocolate brown liner is so pretty! It's perfect when I want a more softer, muted eye look and also can be smudged for a pretty brown smoky eye. The liner applies smoothly and easily and doesn't tug at my lid, which a lot of liners can do. With it being a gel, the color is pigmented and bold and stays put all day. The only thing that I don't care for is the price, I mean, it's an eyeliner I don't need to be paying more than $10 for an eyeliner. Then again, it is Marc Jacobs.

Pixi Beauty Glow-y Powder in Rome Rose: So this Glow-y Powder, created in partnership with Aspyn Ovard, is actually a highlighter but I find that this shade is deep enough to use as a blush on my lighter skin. The soft formula has a hint of soft shimmer so it gives my cheeks a really pretty glow and, as the name would suggest, and is a pretty rosy pink hue. I feel like it's that go-to blush color that looks good on anyone and everyone. It applies somewhat sheer at first but is buildable, which I like.

Winter Layers & Mixed Prints + LINKUP

Winter Layers Outfit

How crazy is it that we're at the end of February? I swear this month just started! it's been a crazy busy month-- I had to travel for work, been insanely busy at work (hence the lack of posts- apologies!), oh, and Steve & I ended up getting a dog! We adopted a 3 year old German Shepherd named Georgia from a nearby shelter-- she's a good girl, is trained and knows commands. It's been a little bit of an adjustment (still working on socializing her with our cat) but she's been a great addition. I'll share pics of her soon :P

Not only has this past month been super busy, but it's also been chilly and rainy, especially for SoCal standards. Layering is a must-- jackets, scarves, gotta wear it all, especially when the temps get low. Makeup Monday:NYX Lip Lingerie Review

NYX Lip Lingerie Review

Remember when lip gloss was like, the must-have lip product? Highly glossed, sheen lips were so popular but now it's the complete opposite. These days it's all about super matte lips, a look which is often created using liquid lipsticks. These thick formulas apply similarly to a gloss, but the end result is matte, not glossy.

For the last few weeks, I've been wearing NYX Lip Lingerie, a collection of matte liquid lipsticks in a series of classic and not-so-classic nudes-- pink-nudes, red-nudes, brown-nudes, pretty much any nude you can think of. Well, maybe not those kinds of nudes. Keep reading for my review on these matte liquid lip products and my shade favorites>>

Just a Hint of Blush + Good HUES-Day LINKUP

Valentine's Day Outfit: White Blouse + Pink Skinny Pants

Happy Valentine's Day! I may not be super into this holiday but it does give me the excuse to wear pink... then again, half my closet is pink so I don't think I need much of an excuse. With V-Day being in the middle of the week, this is an outfit I wore to the office and has pretty much become my go-to uniform: collared shirt and skinny pants. Slightly professional, slightly festive-- it works! Keep reading to see more of this outfit + join this week's Good HUES-Day linkup>>

Sultry Valentine's Day Makeup

Sultry Valentine's Day Makeup

Is it bad that Steve and I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day? We've never been into it and don't really do much such as a dinner out or give each other anything sans for some chocolate maybe. I guess we're just not the romantic types! That doesn't stop me from getting into the festivities, such as with this smokey eye and pretty glow look using a mix of drugstore and prestige makeup. Sultry dark bronzed eyes are paired with a matte nude red lip. Ready to get this sultry look? Keep reading>>
