Even though we're well into October already but here I am sharing a few of my beauty favorites from September. These are typically products I've been using pretty much on the daily for the month or one that I've tried and want to share with you all.
I finally got my hands on BECCA Shimmer Skin Perfector Luminous Blush in Tigerlily, a gorgeous coppery tangerine shade that I've been loving for fall. This blush is super pigmented so a little bit goes a long way and the result is so pretty-- a sheen of luminous shimmery color. It blends easily and looks great on it's own or layered on top of a more matte blush. Love, love, LOVE!
When I first ordered the Glossier Haloscope in Quartz back in July, it was backordered and wouldn't ship until September, heatbreak! It was well worth the wait however, as this highlighter is gorgeous. It's cream based so it glides on easily, and leaves a dewy, pearlescent strobed finish. The highlight is subtle and natural-- I can use a powder highlight over it to bump up the shimmer factor.
I absolutely cannot stand using hand creams that leave my hands feeling greasy so I am loving Perfectly Posh Big Fat Yummy Hand Creme in Hello Sweetie. No greasy feeling- this hand cream leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized, which is much needed in the yucky hot, dry weather we've been having. The sweet, warm vanilla scent is light and not overpowering and pairs nicely with my warmer fragrances.
Have we been washing our hair all wrong? I've been sampling TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume reverse wash system in which you condition first and shampoo second, and I'm going to go with yes, yes we are doing it all wrong. You guys, this reverse system (Pre-Wash Conditioner and Shampoo) is the shiz. My hair feels voluminous, and no lie, even with it air-dried it still feels full and soft like I had a blow-out. I've never had these results with any other shampoo/conditioner, so you can bet I'll be purchasing the full-size system.
What beauty products have you been loving lately?
