I first tried It Cosmetics about two years ago and have been hooked since (especially on their Brow Power- wow! You can read more about it below). Today I'm sharing a soft, smokey eye, perfect skin look that is perfect for spring using some of my go-to products from It Cosmetics. The best part? This entire look took under 20 minutes!

To start, I first applied the Your Skin But Better CC Cream to my moisturized face, blending in with a damp blender sponge. This CC cream is lightweight but has excellent coverage and also helps to color-correct, which I need around my nose area since it was red from being out in the sun without any sun protection (oops!). I should have been wearing this CC cream that day since it has SPF 50, another bonus! The finish is slightly dewy, which I like to give my skin a healthy and natural looking glow. There's also an illuminating version if you really want to pump up the glow!
After adding a touch of concealer to my under eye area, chin and around my nose (always my problem areas!) I gave my face an all over dusting with the Your Skin But Better CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder, which also contains SPF 50. This powder is highly buildable-- you can brush on lightly for sheer coverage (like I did here) or even apply with a damp blender for more coverage depending on your skin and coverage needs. I use the powder to help set my makeup (dusting a little extra under my eyes to help keep my concealer stay put. I like that it gives my skin a finished look, without looking powdery.
I always do my brows before my eye makeup so I took the Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil (currently 50% off!) and with soft, upwards strokes, applied it to my brows. My brows are already fairly full but I like to go in and make them a tad darker and give them a more defined shape. The shade is a soft brunette, taupe shade that would work for most brow shades and has become my brow go-to for the last couple of years. I like that it looks incredibly natural, and acts not only as a fill-in but as a gel (without the funky tackiness of a gel). I then use the opposite ends to comb the hairs upwards to give me more of a boy brow.
Next, I used the Naturally Pretty Vol 1 Matte Luxe Transforming Eyeshadow Palette to create a super soft smoky eye. A smoky eye doesn't need to be dark or harsh, for spring I like to keep it lighter and use muted greys. I first applied the shade Soft Light to my lids, blending up into the crease towards my brow bone. My eyes are slightly hooded so I try to bring the color up a bit higher, bringing it towards the inside corners of my eyes. Next, I applied Mocha to the crease and also lined the bottom lash line, blending and smoking it out. I then applied Soulful, a pretty soft pink to the lids. This palette contains 14 matte shades, but what's really unique is that it includes a 'Transforming Pearl' shade that you can apply over any of the shades to give it a pearlescent finish. I softly applied the Transforming Pearl to the center of my lids to give the eyes some dimension. To finish, I added a swipe of Sheer Joy to my brow bone and inside corners of eyes.I then lined the top lash line with a grey pencil liner and added a couple coats of black mascara.
After adding a soft contour (nothing heavy!) and a swipe of blush, I applied the Hello Light Luminizing Crème Stick to my cheekbones, just above the apples and blending up toward the outer corner of my eyes. This is one of my favorite cream-based highlighters- it's so illuminating and is easy to blend in. You can wear over or under foundation... or both!
To finish off the entire look, I applied the CC+ Lip Serum Hydrating Color Correcting Crème Gloss in Live, a pretty bright pink that complements the grey smokey eyes. I know the trends have gone towards super matte lips lately, but I love a good gloss, especially one like this that is super hydrating and adds a fun punch of color without being too much.
